Came here for the first time and I was really disappointed with the service from our waitress. We spent half our time there waiting than eating. Our server came to check on us quite a few times in the beginning to check if we wanted to order more but we didn’t even receive our first order of food yet. Then we ordered desert which was the oreo tempura and a few scoops of ice cream. The ice cream came right away but then we waited another 20 mins when our waitress came back again and we had to ask her about the oreo. After that.. She had us wait for another 20 minutes for the check and I had to call the server from the next section to get our check. I’ve watched another section served by a different server who was very attentive and brought their dishes out right away when they would order things after us. It was disappointing.. Food is good and I like their many options. I wouldn’t say it is the best but the fish does taste fresh. Many of their rolls contained the wasabi sauce which my partner wasn’t a big fan of. This restaurant was better than I thought! Our server Alaryce was amazing. She was very patient with us and very attentive. She was knowledgeable about the menu and helped us make some great choices. It was a pleasure having her as our server. A few things that I should mention: the menu doesnt tell you how many peices of sashimi is in one order so we over ordered, but we were able to finish it. I really enjoyed the hamachi chili, it wasnt too spicy and very refreshing. The beef broccoli was tender and delicious. I liked how crispy the sushi tacos were! The wonton chips for the salmon nachos were a bit stale. The rice ratio for the nigiri’s were a bit too much rice, the scallop was way too thin for the nigiri and I wished it was thicker. I really liked the crispy rice, it wasnt overly fried, it had the perfect crunch and texture.

🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡 Miyagi Sushi & Hibachi is absolutely incredible. For around $36 per person, I honestly don’t know how they do it. In today’s economy, finding this level of quality, freshness, presentation, and service at this price is almost impossible. Every piece of sushi was fresh and beautifully prepared, and the overall dining experience exceeded my expectations. The quality easily rivals restaurants that charge much more. A special thank you to our server, Orsen, who was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a great experience from start to finish. I also want to give credit to the entire team—management, front of house, and back of house. It takes a lot of hard work to maintain this level of quality while keeping prices so reasonable. I truly believe this restaurant deserves much more recognition. Keep up the amazing work. We’ll definitely be back! ☺️🧡

After seeing so many great reviews, we finally decided to give this place a try—and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is cute, cozy, and has a charming Japanese vibe. The wait was about 30 minutes on a Saturday night, which wasn’t bad at all. The food was delicious, the sushi was fresh, and the service was friendly. A special shoutout to our waiter, Orson, who was fantastic and made our experience even better. If you’re in Sugar Land, definitely give this spot a try!

This restaurant is a great gem for our community. I hesitate to tell people about it because it is such a great restaurant with delicious fresh food. The service is great and it is all you can eat for under $25 a person. There was a large amount of diners but the service was great. You can pay a flat rate and order everything on the menu as long as you don't waste food.
